On July 1, 2018, I received a message from a customer from Cote d’Ivoire, informing me that they were coming to China for a two-week trip, with Shenzhen as their first stop. This customer has been our partner for several years and has purchased Carter mechanical products from us before. We have been in constant communication, and this time, we wanted to build a deeper relationship with the customer, so we asked about the itinerary, arranged airport pick-up, and invited them to visit our company and our equipment site.
On the first day of their visit, I introduced the background and main business of our company to the customer. At the same time, they expressed interest in a hot-selling excavator model of XCMG Group, so I arranged for our engineers to prepare this equipment in advance so that the customer could inspect it on site. During the inspection of the equipment, they asked several questions about the configuration, and the customer was very satisfied with our answers. The factory experience left a deep impression on them.
